EVENT MISSION:

The mission of this workshop is to unite people from all facets of Black culture. This will not be just another networking opportunity; rather, it aims to foster connections with Black immigrants involved in movement-building spaces and with Black Americans living in proximity to social injustice. 

Finding a path forward by discussing ways we can collaborate, build, and organize together. Learning and hearing from directly impacted Black immigrants and Black folx who sit at many intersections, and mobilizing to dismantle and create new systems of life and structure. 

Coming face-to-face with harmful systems and policy changes in the region. We will share tools and resources so attendees can not only participate in the discussion but also find tangible ways to turn these conversations into action that challenges and transforms harmful systems.
